Green Agri Marketing Engages with Muhammad Nawaz Sharif University of Agriculture on Sustainable Cotton Revival

Green Agri Marketing held an important meeting with Vice Chancellor Dr. Rao Asif Ali at Muhammad Nawaz Sharif University of Agriculture along with Dr. Muhammad Iqbal Bandesha to discuss the ongoing decline in Pakistan’s cotton sector and the urgent need for sustainable agricultural solutions.

The meeting focused on the challenges affecting cotton production, including climate stress, soil degradation, and increasing disease pressure. Green Agri Marketing presented its nature-based solution initiative aimed at supporting cotton crop resilience, improving soil health, enhancing productivity, and promoting environmentally sustainable farming practices.

The initiative was appreciated and acknowledged for scientific research validation under a specialized committee comprising experts from the departments of Plant Pathology, Soil Sciences, and Agronomy. Both sides emphasized the importance of collaborative research and industry–academia partnerships to develop innovative and practical solutions for the revival of Pakistan’s cotton sector.
